Science.
I used to think that science defined reality, but it is much more complicated than that. As if the Universe is a numerical solution, where everything complements each other, science was supposed to be the data. However, this reasoning is constrained by the limitations of mathematics. Science is not magic, yet it is soulful. In many ways, science’s grandiosity is comparable to religion: they both complement one another and prove themselves with circular reasoning. Science is praying to the idols Connection and Contradiction.
Scientific inquiry.
It is insane to believe that by observing contradictions within personal reality, one journeys to a universal solution. Unlike a statement, a question requires algebra to find a missing term within the mathematical expression. This point of data is always in flux — a superposition of probable perspectives — which makes the solution obsolete, for it is not the scientist’s end goal. By doing so, the skeptic creates a vacuum, forcing the fluctuation to collapse into any observable pattern. These rigid binary states are digital interpretations of an analog universe. To inquire about a point on this curve unguided by the calculus of exterior possibilities, is to inquire with science.
